THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of controversies and irregularities regarding the PSC examination, the Crime Branch will be investigating the PSC rank lists of the last three years. The Crime Branch has sent a letter to PSC Secretary requesting details related to this. The High Court had earlier ordered to conduct a thorough investigation on this, which was followed with the Crime Branch probe. The prosecution will inform the HC regarding the progress in Crime Branch’s probe.

Meanwhile, Gokul, the accused in the PSC irregularity and a police officer at the S.A.P Camp was suspended. Gokul, who is the fifth accused, surrendered at the CJM court here. He was remanded by the court till September 16. Crime Branch has approached the court to get Gokul in custody for questioning.
