There is a general feeling that a big ‘star war’ is going on between superstars Mohanlal and Mammotty. But Mohanlal himself has now said that there is nothing like that between them.

He said this in an interview given to a magazine recently.

“There is a feeling among Malaylis that there is some star war existing between Mohanlal and Mammootty. Is this true?” the interviewer asked.
To this Mohanlal replied:

“There is no war but there may be a healthy competition between us. I am a person who is thoroughly convinced that I won’t be able to do great roles done by Mammotty. Then why go for a war with him?

When he gets good roles, I also pine for getting good roles. What is wrong in it? There is problem only when one tries to destroy another person. Isn’t it?” he quipped.
