NEW DELHI: Latest reports suggest that a fire has broken out in the Kerala Sampark Kranti (Chandigarh- Kochuveli) Express which was stationed at the New Delhi Railway station. It is learnt that the train was in the 8th platform when the fire was noticed.

As per sources, the fire which developed in one coach soon began spreading into nearby coaches. Passengers have been moved to safety and firemen have started to extinguish the fire. Authorities have informed that all nearby platforms have been closed due to the fire. The Kerala Kranti express runs between Thiruvananthapuram and Chandigarh.
