kodiyeri-balakrishnan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan came down heavily on the Motor Vehicle Law Amendment. He said the reform was unscientific and would lead to massive corruption. Laws should be to reduce accidents and high fines will have the opposite effect, he said. The transport department should see what could be done against the central law. The center brings in many laws and breaks the federal structure. The law should be strictly enforced rather than increasing the fine, he added.

Meantime, Kodiyeri said Kerala Congress (M) working chairman P J Joseph is in the prison of the congress. Joseph should leave the UDF if he has self-respect. The congress is trying to destroy the Kerala Congress. The UDF is not able to control those who booed Joseph and his announcement is a start of the decline of the congress, he said.
