KOCHI: An employee of a bus forcefully alighted a bus passenger after he collapsed in the vehicle. The incident happened yesterday at Moovattupuzha-Vannapuram route. The dead has been identified as M E Xavier aged 68. Xavier who was going to Moovattupuzha collapsed in the bus. It has been alleged that even after seeing his situation, the bus stopped at Njarakkad and forcibly alighted him from the bus. He was sent to the hospital in an auto. Xavier admitted at a private hospital in Vannappuram breathed his last here. Xavier had some heart diseases.

Following the incident, a case has been registered against the bus employee. Meantime, bus owner Bino Paul reacted saying that the allegations levelled is totally baseless. All arrangements were made to take him to the hospital. There were only a few people in the bus as it was Onam and that’s why he couldn’t accompany him. However, the auto fare was given to him.
