THRISSUR: In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed to death by some theatre operators after a quarrel broke out regarding the parking of vehicles in front of his house. The deceased, Rajan, was a lottery agent living near the Varna theatre in Mapranam.

The scuffle began on Friday midnight when Rajan questioned the theatre operators about the parking of vehicles in front of his house. Following this. the theatre operator and three other employees approached his house and attacked him and his son-in-law using knife and other weapons. Rajan, who suffered serious wounds, died soon before reaching the hospital. The son-in-law is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital after suffering from a blow on his head using a beer bottle.

Soon after the incident, the accused have absconded from the scene. Police have started searching for them. According to neighbours, Rajan had already filed a complaint against the theatre over the parking issue.
