THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PSC chairman M K Sakeer said they are ready to conduct the exam in Malayalam. The PSC chairman was speaking to the media after a discussion with the chief minister in the wake of the hunger strike by Aikya Malayala Prasthanam demanding to conduct all PSC exams in Malayalam.

During talks with the chief minister, the chairman informed his stand of conducting all exams coming under the PSC in Malayalam. A decision taken at the meet was to form a panel to examine the practical aspects of it. The panel will include university teachers and others.

All the objections raised by the PSC on the subject have now been withdrawn. With this, the strike staged by Aikya Malayala Prasthanam at the PSC headquarters is almost successful. Many noted personalities had supported the strike.
