KOTTAYAM: As an attempt to strengthen BJP's chances in the upcoming Pala by-election, the state leadership has brought in National Secretary Sunil Deodhar, the mastermind behind the party's smashing victory in Tripura. It is learnt that Deodhar will be devising plans in order to make things favourable for the party in the election.

Deodhar, the state-in-charge of Tripura, had played an instrumental role in uprooting the CPM government that had been ruling Tripura for 25 years. He is also the co-in charge of Andhra Pradesh. Soon after reaching Kerala, he held discussions with the party leaders and workers regarding the election. According to sources, under his leadership, the party will be looking forward to pull off a 'Tripura-model' victory in Pala.
