THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The nominations given by the KSU and AISF candidates to the college authorities for contesting college union election was rejected en masse on Wednesday.

The nominations were rejected, citing the reason that the nominations were not filed as per the norms for filing the nomination. As many as eight candidates had given the nominations. The nominations were rejected, citing that the name of the posts such as the president and the vice-president was not mentioned in the nomination papers.

The KSU is getting ready for the contest in the university after a long gap of 20 years.. The KSU said that it would move court against the rejection of its nomination.

The KSU started a unit in the University College soon after the incident in which SFI students stabbed and injured their classmates.
