HOUSTON: As Houston is all set to witness the biggest ever Indian gathering at the 'Howdy Modi' event tomorrow, a lawsuit has been filed against PM Modi for violating human rights in Kashmir. The lawsuit was filed at a federal court by two Kashmir activists who are currently settled in the US.

The 73-page lawsuit also accuses Home Minister Amit Shah and army officials in Srinagar of human rights violations. Following the lawsuit, a summons has been sent against Modi by the federal court in Texas. A similar kind of summons was sent to Modi in 2014. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Kashmir activists and Pakistan supporters are planning to hold huge protest against Modi's arrival in Houston.
