PALA: An estimated 50 per cent of polling has been registered till 1 pm in the by-polls in Pala. Severe polling was registered in several areas including Pala Municipality. However, in the hilly and rural areas, polling is a bit slow. Polling which started at 7 am is progressing without any disruptions.

Meanwhile, UDF candidate Jose Tom said Mani C Kappan need not worry in the case of K M Mani. A person will not come first if his name comes first and being named Mani is not everything, Jose Tom said in reply to Mani C Kappan.

Those who insulted K M Mani is now sympathizing him and his soul will not forgive them, L DF candidate Mani C Kappan had stated earlier.
