KOTTAYAM: As the Pala by-election polling has come to an end, various agencies have come out with exit poll results. As per the exit poll results published by Asianet, UDF candidate Jose Tom will emerge as the winner in Pala with 48% votes. It also predicted that LDF candidate Mani C Kappan will secure the second spot with 32%.

As per the result, BJP candidate N Hari will end up at the third spot with just 19% votes. The exit poll survey was jointly conducted by Asianet and AZ Research Partners. As per the survey, UDF is expected to increase its votes from 46% in 2016 to 48% in 2019. On the other hand, the LDF is expected to see a decline in votes by 7%.
