PALA: The BJP suspended its President in Pala constituency following the allegation of vote trading. There were disputes in the party minutes after the voting concluded. BJP Kottayam district President N. Hari said that Binu Pulikkandam was suspended. However, Binu Pulikkandam says that he already resigned on September 9th.

Binu said that he cannot function as the constituency President in the present situation. Activists alleged that Hari committed financial fraud. Binu also said that Hari got money from quarry and land mafias. Binu further alleged that Hari traded BJP votes to Mani for money. He added that he has details of this and Hari traded votes in the guise of beating LDF.
