THRISSUR: A biker-rider landed in trouble after he verbally abused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s cavalcade on Monday. He was later taken into custody.

It was Chittilappilly Ambizhappilly Anson Vadakkan (40), who got arrested.

He hurled abuses after he got irritated by the policemen who obstructed his path for the chief minister’s vehicle and escort vehicles to pass by.

The Assistant Commissioner, who came to notice this, rushed to him and took out the key of his bike but he managed to start his bike and flee the spot. However, he was caught by a team of police in the next junction after a chase and using force.

The chief minister and cavalcade were passing through Thrissur-Guruvayur national highway. At that time, there was heavy traffic block in that spot and he first expressed his anger at the policemen who were controlling the traffic. It was then chief minister’s vehicle came that way and he turned towards it, hurling verbal abuse in full public view.
