BHOPAL: The state of Madhya Pradesh has been witnessing a political turmoil ever since reports said that over 4000 videos and pictures involving prominent personalities have been recovered by the police. As of now, police have arrested five members of the high profile gang that blackmailed various people in the name of these videos and pictures.
Following this, both Congress and BJP began to accuse each other of getting involved in the crime. It was Madhya Pradesh Congress Vice-President Arunodey Choubey who made the first attack by claiming that accused Shweta Jain had campaigned for BJP during 2013 and 2018 elections. He also released some photos showing Shweta campaigning for the BJP. Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh also stated that Shweta is closely associated with the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Singh went on to add that Shweta was the General Secretary of Yuva Morcha while Jitu Jirati served as its State President.
According to reports, the gang members used to seduce men using women and thereby recorded their nude pictures and videos. Following this, they demanded money from the men by blackmailing them using the nude pictures and videos. Reports also suggest that the victims include a former CM who is currently serving as Governor of another state and several MLAs belonging to both BJP and Congress
