KOTTAYAM: Pala LDF candidate and winning MLA Mani C Kappan has said exit poll results released by certain channels had dampened the spirit of party workers.

“I was sure of my victory. My winning trend from the beginning of the counting was my personal win and collective victory of the LDF.”

After the result was out, Kappan said the campaign carried out by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his cabinet ministers turned decisive for his victory. “I’ll go ahead with the task entrusted to me, in consultation with the LDF,” he aded.
