THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader Kodiyeri Balkrishnan has said the elction victory of LDF seen in Pala by-election is people’s acceptance of Kappan’s political activites and the surge being made by the LDF.
“The current cirucmstance in Kerala is not the one which existed during the time of Lok Sabha election. The result shows that Kerala is with the LDF.
The UDF has disintegrated. The victory is a message given to the people of Kerala. People have now come to realise the wrongdoings of the government,” he said.

“The UDF bastion has collapsed. They could not win the election even after getting votes from the BJP. The BJP had fielded the candidate with the knowledge of the UDF; this they did to help UDF win the election and finally the BJP cross-voted to benefit the UDF,” Kodiyeri alleged.
