THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the last date for submitting nomination papers for the by-election is over, impostors pose a threat to political fronts. In Vattiyoorkavu, impostors could get a share of votes from UDF and BJP. As there is a strong possibility of a three-way contest in Vattiyoorkavu, the votes garnered by impostors could play a key role. The BJP candidate in Vattiyoorkavu has an impostor candidate by the name S.S. Suresh.

K. Mohan Kumar is contesting from the UDF ticket here. A. Mohan Kumar contests here as the UDF candidate’s impostor. There are impostors for LDF and UDF candidates in Ernakulam. Against Manu Roy, there is one K.M. Manu and A.P. Vinod against T.J. Vinod.

11 candidates have submitted their nomination papers in Ernakulam. Cross-checking of nomination papers will begin on Tuesday at 11 am. The last day to withdraw nomination is October 3.
