NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told media persons on Tuesday that the State had apprised the Central ministers of the people’s anxiety over night traffic ban in Bandipur.
“Union Minister Prakash Javadekar informed us that since there was Supreme Court’s interference in the case, his government would have certain limitations in dealing with the case. However, the minister assured us of appointing an expert committee to study the issue and Kerala can put forward it suggestions. He has also assured us that the Centre will apprise the apex court of the facts mentioned in the report of the expert committee,” the chief minister said during his address to media after meeting Union Ministers Nithin Gadkari and Prakash Javadekar.
Referring to the delay in NH development, the chief minister said Nithin Gadkari took a strong stand against NH authority officers, who were responsible for it.
