THAMARASSERI: The police Sunday locked and sealed the house where the serial murders happened at Koodathayi. Kodencheri police reached the house this morning and sealed it. Some including sister of Roy (Jolly’s first husband) was there in the house last night. They left home this morning. When they left they took Roy and Jolly’s children along with them. The house was locked as police is examining the house.

The deaths happened between 2002 and 2016. The deaths happened in the same manner. Tom Thomas, his wife Annamma, son Roy Thomas, Annamma’s brother Mathew Manjadi and their relatives Sali and her two year old baby were the dead. The mystery of the deaths was unravelled after Roy’s brother filed a complaint.

In the meanwhile, the rural SP has asked the forensic lab director in Kannur to give a report at the earliest after examining the remains of the dead. It was earlier informed that it will take two weeks to get the result.

The police has decided to send a notice to seven in connection with the case. Three will be summoned in connection with the fake will. In the meanwhile, some are under surveillance after examining Jolly’s phone details. The police will summon those who were in constant touch with the accused. The police has made a list of such people.

Jolly, a native of Idukki married Roy 22 years back after falling in love with him. She met him at a marriage function.
