CHALAKKUDY: Student dies in Malakkappara near Perumbavoor after a bus overturned in the middle of the road. Fifteen were left injured. The bus lost control and moved from side to side throwing Ansi (21) out of the window. Then the bus fell on Jancy’s body.

The incident was around 5.30 pm. The bus was in a return journey after nature studies camp of students of Christ College, Iringalakuda. Jancy was taken out from under the bus but had died by then. She was a MSW student at Christ College.

Injured persons were entered into Tata Tea Estate Hospital in Valppara Urulikkal.
