KOZHIKODE: Renji, the sister of Roy Thomas (accused Jolly’s first husband), who is a victim of Koodathayi serial murder case, has made a startling revelation about the attempt Jolly had made to kill her.

“Jolly had once tried to murder me but at that time I didn’t realise it,” Renji told the investigation officers.

“Behaving in a friendly and loving manner, she gave me some Ayurvedic concoction. I drank it and soon got exhausted. I suddenly felt darkness in my eyes and had vomiting sensation. I couldn’t move my legs.

Suddenly I felt that some yellow light was entering my eyes. I knew that I was going to lose my consciousness. But suddenly I regained my sense and drank several litres of water. It was due to my own efforts I escaped from death and returned to normalcy…

However, at that time I had no doubts about Jolly. Later, when more deaths occurred in the family I understood that what happened that day was an attempt to murder me,” Renji recounted in front of investigation officers.

Renji had told a TV channel the other day that she had not tried to harass anyone and only tried to find out the mystery behind her parents’ death.
Meanwhile, Jolly’s son’s reaction is that those who have done the crime should be punished.
