KOZHIKODE: Police have found that Jolly had prepared a fake letter of former Vicar general of Thamarassery diocese. The attempt was to keep her membership at Koodathayi diocese after her second marriage with Shaju from Kodenchery. As per the recommendation in the letter, Jolly could be allowed to continue in Koodathayi diocese due to special circumstances.

All three accused in the serial murders are being interrogated at the Vadakara Rural SP Office. The court had earlier granted the custody of the accused to the police for 16 days. The accused Jolly is being interrogated by SP K.G. Simon. In the custody plea at the court, the police stated that Jolly murdered her first husband Roy to cover up her illicit relationships and to marry someone with a regular source of income.

Roy’s alcoholism and blind faith lead to more hatred. A meeting of the investigating officers will be held later today. In the plea, the police said that the murder was committed with the knowledge and help of the second and third accused-Mathew and Prajikumar.
