WAYANAD: A 44-year-old estate worker was attacked and killed by a wild elephant at nearby Thirunelly on Tuesday.

The dead identified as K C Mani, was found seriously injured at the estate and was being rushed to a hospital when he succumbed to injuries, police said.

Mani, is a local committee member of the CPI (M)'s Thirunelly unit.
