THRISSUR: The body of a pump owner missing from Kaipamangalam has been found. The body of Manoharan, native of Kaipamangalam was found on the road side at Mammiyoor in Guruvayur. The hands were found tied at the back.

A missing complaint was lodged at the police station the other day. He was reported missing while going home after closing the pump. He left the pump at 12.50 am. A person who picked up his phone when his family called said that he was sleeping. His family did not suspect anything as he used to sleep in the pump some times. They lodged a complaint the next day when they did not get any information about him.

Meantime, his body was found by the roadside but his car or mobile phone have not been recovered. The police could not find who attended his phone when his relatives called. The police have decided to conduct a detailed probe after examining the CCTV footages.
