KOZHIKODE: The investigating team is trying to unravel the mystery behind the journey of Jolly, the cyanide killer, to the NIT daily. She used to leave home every morning in the pretext of working as a lecturer in NIT. The investigation team got the information that the trip was a bridge for her higher relations. Those who helped her in forging documents were those she met on her way to NIT.
The investigating team has obtained information that her trip to NIT for the past 14 years was for Satan worship. She had a close relationship with those conducting Satan poojas at her native place in Kattapana. A Kozhikode based club helps her in performing the pooja. It is believed that such a group is also based in NIT. There were reports earlier that a team engaged in Satan worship is camping in Kozhikode.
The pooja is held on Fridays. Only members are allowed to enter these clubs. None from outside will be allowed to enter. They have branches in all districts. They firmly believe that by doing these poojs, they will attain more wealth. They do witchcraft against holy bible and mass. There was a suspicion that Jolly used to do witchcraft. Some neighbours had mentioned that Roy Thomas and Jolly used to perform some poojas at home. There were reports that Jolly used to perform pooja at the house of an astrologer in Kattapana.
It is believed that by killing girls one can attain what they want. As part of it, she killed Shaju’s daughter. It is also suspected that she tried to kill girls as part of it.
Meantime, Jolly behaved in such a manner that she has not committed any offence. The devil ascends into my body at times. I cannot say what will happen at that time, she told police when she was taken to the court. When we read all this, we firmly believe that Jolly has a connection with Satan pooja. However, the police has decided to probe all these things.
