AHMEDABAD: In a bizarre incident, a local leader of the BJP has allegedly posted several obscene videos in one of the WhatsApp groups of the party. According to reports, it was Gautam Patel, secretary of Naroda unit in Ahmedabad, who left the party embarrassed by posting over 70 videos in the group. Following this, several women workers of the party left the group, reports said.

Meanwhile, party workers said that the incident has been brought under the notice of the leadership who will soon take appropriate action. The women who left the group include around 20 councilors of the BJP. However, Gautam Patel has claimed that his phone got misplaced and some unidentified person has posted the videos in order to tarnish his image. He also added that the videos were uploaded from a number other than the one that he frequently uses.
