KOCHI: War of words between Minister K.T. Jaleel and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala intensify in relation to the mark moderation row. To the minister’s allegation that Chennithala’s son scored 30 marks more in the interview than the first holder in written exam, Chennithala replied that Jaleel doesn’t have an understanding about civil service exam and his allegations are full of blunders.

“It was bad of him to speak about children as he doesn’t have anything to say about me”, Chennithala said.

Meanwhile, Minister Jaleel said about his secretary not signing at the Adalat and not participating in it. If the opposition leader wants to put a stop to moderation, he should be specific, he said.

The governor has sought a report from the vice-chancellor in the matter. The governor handed over Chennithala’s petition to the Chief Minister.
