VATTIYOORKAVU: With only two days left for the byelection, Kerala is closely watching the developments in Vattiyoorkavu. Recently, NSS’ public support to UDF was especially noticed. BJP candidate here, S. Suresh has said that the public will decide on who’ll benefit from NSS’ agenda.

“The right agenda is that of tradition, faith, righteousness, and truth. I believe in that and doing by BJP activism accordingly. So there is no need for complaints”, Suresh said.

CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Friday came to the fore with harsh criticism against NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair. He alleged that the NSS General Secretary is acting like UDF convenor. The LDF is discontent with NSS’ public support to UDF.

CPM has complained to the Election Commission regarding the communities who is seeking votes in the name of caste. Chief Electoral Officer Teeka Ram Meena has said in a press meeting on Friday that conflict shouldn’t be created by asking votes in the name of caste and religion.
