The first song of the big-budget movie ‘Mamankam’ was released. The video of the song ‘Mukkuthi Mukkuthi’ sung by Shreya Ghoshal features Unni Mukundan, Sudev Nair, Ineya and Prachi Tehlan. M. Jayachandran composed the song written by Rafeeque Ahammed.

‘Mamankam’ with Mammootty in the lead is directed by M. Padmakumar. This is the costliest movie ever in Malayalam Cinema. The movie is produced by expat industrialist Venu Kunnappally under the banner of Kavya Film Company. The movie tells the story of suicide fighters of medieval Kerala. Other than Malayalam, the movie will be also released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Unni Mukundan, Siddique, Prachi Tehlan, Anu Sithara, Kaniha, Ineya, Tarun Arora, Sudev Nair, Manikandan, Suresh Krishna and Master Achuthan portray key roles in the movie.
