KOCHI: The Kerala High Court harshly criticised the Kochi Corporation in connection with the waterlogging issue. The court asked why the corporation was not being dissolved. Millions are spent on moving mud at Kochi Corporation and still people are not able to live in peace, the court blamed.

It was not intended to make Kochi a Singapore, people should live in peace, the court clarified. The court asked then why the corporation which cannot be administered properly dissolved.

The state government should use their power, the court asked to give an explanation on it tomorrow. The main reason for the criticism is the waterlogging witnessed in the city the other day. The court observed that there are flaws on the side of the corporation in cleaning up the gutters.
