KOCHI: Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) general secretary B Unnikrishnan said there are limitations for us to intervene on the controversy between actress Manju Warrier and director Shrikumar Menon. The actress had lodged a complaint to the organisation against Menon. He said they have got her complaint but as it is a criminal case, the organisation cannot intervene. Menon is not a member of FEFKA. Manju sought the support of FEFKA on her complaint against him this morning.

‘She did not give a letter, she just informed us. She has given a complaint to the DGP. She said that she has got the support of the organisation in all things and hope to get their support in this also. FEFKA cannot take a stand as it is a criminal offence,” he said.

Meantime, DGP Lokanath Behera said steps will be taken after examining her complaint. The complaint will be probed by a special team. The complaint will be investigated by circle inspector Prakash by a team led by DySP Raj Kumar of police headquarters. The team will record Menon’s statement.
