ERNAKULAM: Though UDF candidate TJ Vinod has managed to secure a win in Ernakulam constituency, the Congress leadership is reportedly unhappy with the reduction in the lead. According to leaders, the incessant rain that took place on Monday must be blamed for this reduction.

Ernakulam MP Hibi Eden said that many voters were unable to cast their votes as the constituency was suffering from heavy rain and waterlogging on the day of the election. Several other leaders too have come up with a similar opinion.

Meanwhile, LDF candidate Manu Roy seems to have received a backlash because of the presence of an impostor. As per reports, Manu's impostor has secured around 2544 votes which have proven to be crucial as far as the final result is concerned.
