​​​​​THRISSUR: In a shocking incident, a youth, who was arrested for stealing a motorbike, confessed to murdering his father. The youth named Balu, a native of Chalakkudy, admitted that he had murdered his father, Babu, one and a half years ago during an altercation.

The startling revelation was made by Balu while he was being questioned for stealing a bike. Balu said that he had beaten Babu to death after he got involved in an altercation with his mother. Later, he had informed everyone that Babu died after falling from a tree.
