The film CID Moosa, starring Dileep, still enjoys a huge fan following and so does the special car used in the film. Recently in an interview, cinematographer Saloo George recollected his experience of shooting the sequences that involved the car.

According to Saloo, the car used by Dileep's character was special in many ways. The car, which has a huge hole below the driver's seat, created several rib-tickling moments for the audience. Saloo George says, " The car we used for the film was an old foreign one. While shooting, several drivers found it difficult to handle. According to its engine condition, the car could not go beyond 50kmph. Even I too tried and failed in driving the car. However, Dileep drove it so effortlessly that he drove it around 100-150 km speed. I believe that only Dileep can handle that car. I think he still has it in his private collection."
