THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Latest reports suggest that certain irregularities have been found in the MA Economics question paper of Kerala University. It has been found that a previous year's question paper was reused for this year's first-semester Macroeconomics paper. According to sources, the authorities have been hiding the news for quite some time.
The exams for 2018 were conducted in 2019 due to floods. This same question paper was later used for the exam that was conducted last month. The authorities took special care in changing the dates on the question paper by overwriting on the existing date, the report said. It must be noted that the first and third-semester exam papers are prepared by the lecturers of respective colleges as the exams do not come under the control of the Exam controller.
According to students, almost 75% questions given during class exams have been repeated for university exams. All these lead to various irregularities regarding the exams conducted by the University. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr.PP Ajayakumar said that an investigation will be conducted regarding the issue.
