KOZHIKODE: Jolly Joseph, the main accused in the Koodathayi multiple murders, has been living under the fake identify of NIT lecturer for the past 14 years. Investigating officials found that Jolly, the cyanide killer had not even passed pre-degree exams. Jolly who joined a college at Nedumkandam did not write her last year exams. Later she took admission at a college in Pala for graduation but did not complete that also. The officials are investigating how she took admission for graduation without passing pre-degree.

Meantime, when she reached Koodathayi after marriage, she told everyone that she was M.Com graduate. The officials recovered graduate and post graduate certificates from her house in a search conducted at her house in Koodathayi.

The officials recovered M G University’s B.Com and Kerala University’s M.Com provisional certificates from her house. She forged fake certificates to establish herself as NIT professor in front of the locals and relatives. The officials have given applications to the registrars of both universities to verify their authenticity.
