THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SIT investigating the mysterious death of Jayamadhavan of Koodathil family has found a wooden plank with stains that seems like blood. The wooden plank with dried stains of blood drops was kept at a place where it cannot be seen easily. Even though the presence of blood was confirmed with the help of the forensics department, more probe is necessary. The wooden plank will be subjected to forensic tests.

It has to be found whether the bloodstains on the wooden plank is linked to the injuries on Jayamadhavan’s body. All these can be only confirmed through forensic tests. Marks which are the result of blood splashes were found in the room. It was also found that the bloodstains were cleaned. This was not recorded in the statements given to police on the day Jayamadhavan died. This has increased the suspicions of the police.

Raveendran Nair told the police that following the death of Jayamadhavan his belongings were burned. The SIT has searched most parts of the Koodathil House as part of the investigation and evidence collection. The maid of the house will be questioned again on the cleaning of the rooms inside the house. Meanwhile, investigation of the case where assets worth crores were usurped has reached its final phase. As per indications, arrests might be made soon.
