THRISSUR: In a recent development, police on Wednesday seized fake notes worth around Rs 40 lakhs from two people in Kaaramukku in Thrissur.

The two have been identified as Jawah and Nissar.

The two were trying to transport the fake notes through a motorcycle when the police hunted them down.
