MUMBAI: The condition of Wasim, the main accused in the Santhanpara murder case, who consumed poison at a hotel in Mumbai and Liji, continues to be critical. Liji’s two and a half year old daughter Jovana died after consuming poison. Wasim and Liji are undergoing treatment at the J J Hospital in Mumbai.
The funeral of Jovana is likely to take place in Mumbai itself. The relatives of Rijosh, husband of Liji, has left for Mumbai. A team led by Santhanpara sub inspector also reached Mumbai.
Rijosh (31) of Santhanpara and an employee of Mushroom Hut Farm House in Idukki was found missing on October 31. Rijosh’s wife Liji (29) and her younger daughter were found missing after five days. A Wasim (32), farm house manager and a native of Thrissur was also missing.
Wasim had sent a video to his brother confessing to the murder of Rijosh. In the meanwhile, the body of Rijosh was found buried in the farmhouse.
