RIYAD: An Arab youth on Monday attacked foreign artistes who were performing on a stage in Saudi on the occasion of the season festival. In the attack four artistes including a woman were injured.

He climbed up the stage with a knife and injured the artistes. The incident happened in the capital city of Riyadh. The musical was going on at King Abdullah Park. The attacker has been identified as a 33-year-old Yamen citizen.

The security force personnel rushed to the spot, overpowered him and arrested him, according to a Saudi TV channel. Later reports said that the injured persons were out of danger.
