KOZHIKODE: The members of the Students Federation of India (SFI) waved black flag against Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Sanjay Dhotre in the Calicut University campus earlier today. The incident occurred while the minister reached the campus to inaugurate the new building for teachers' training.

According to sources, the activists began waving black flags once the minister set out to deliver his speech. They also raised slogans supporting the student agitation at JNU, Delhi.

Police have arrested 15 SFI activists in connection with the incident. Dhotre later said that the issue in JNU would be soon resolved by the authorities.
