KILIMANOOR: Police have arrested a woman who eloped with her lover, leaving behind her eight-year-old daughter and husband, who is working aborad.

The arrested persons are Madavoor Krishnankunnu Bhaskara Vilasam resident Sajin’s wife Prajeena (29) and Thrissur Eravu Karivamvalavu, Vadakkottu house resident Sithin (31)

Prajeena had gone missing one month ago and her relatives had given a missing complaint to Pallikkal police. In the investigation conducted thereafter, the couple were arrested from Chennai.

Prajeena had left her eight-year-old daughter with her mother-in-law before eloping with Sithin. He also has a three-year-old son.

The couple was arrested by a police team led by Pallikkal SHO Aji G Nath and S I Anil Kumar.
