Congress MP Shashi Tharoor recently took a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath over his controversial decisions to change the names of various cities in UP. Tharoor was speaking in a stand-up comedy show called 'One mic stand' when he mocked the UP CM.
Tharoor says, " I represent Thiruvananthapuram. The fact is that I was actually looking for a constituency with a longer name. Except that Yogiji was busy changing the names of all the cities. But I know that he wouldn't touch Thiruvananthapuram because it ends with 'RAM'." Tharoor's statement received great applause from the crowd.
Thank God BJP govt won't change the name of our city #Thiruvananthapuram because it ends in #RAM !!!
