KOZHIKODE: Jolly, the main accused in the Koodathai multiple murders, was brought to her native police for collecting evidence. The investigating team took her to her old family house in Vazhavara and the house of her parents in Kattappana and collected evidence. Her parents’ statements were registered.

She is coming home for the first time after her arrest in the case. She broke down in tears on seeing her mother. She was first taken to their old family house in Mathaipady and then her house in Valiyakandam. Both her parents were at home. Her brother was also summoned here. As her father has some health issues, his statement was not taken in the presence of Jolly.

A huge crowd assembled in front of the two houses. A search was conducted in both the houses and details were collected from the family members. The investigating team said she poisoned to death her mother-in-law Annamma after poisoning her dog.

She tested the poison in the dog which her father bought for agricultural purposes. The poison was a strong one used for cardamom. No one knew that the dog died of poison. Everyone thought that it died of old age. Jolly decided to adopt this style in all the killings.
