KOLLAM: State volleyball player J S Sreeram (23) died in a bike accident. The bike he was riding collided with a KSRTC bus at Jadayu Junction in Chadayamangalam Sunday night at 11 pm.

The incident happened when he was returning home after a volleyball competition held at Venjaramoodu. He had played for Kerala in national youth volleyball championship.

He was a third year history student of NSS College in Nilamel. He was the son of Jayaram and Sreelekha of Vettikkavala Gurupushpam. Sivaram is his brother.
