KANNUR: What lures us to online shopping sites are their attractive offers. Moreover, we can save time. But sometimes we get duped when we buy commodities online. Sometimes, we end up receiving something funny for the material we had ordered for.
Kannur native Vishnu Suresh recently had such a baffling experience. Vishnu had ordered a camera priced at Rs 27500 through Fipkart on November 20.
Yesterday evening, he received the parcel from E-cart Logistics delivery body. With anxiety, he opened it only to get literally shocked.
Instead of camera, what was inside the parcel was tile pieces but the user manual and warranty card were intact inside the parcel box.
Vishnu immediately contacted Customer Care and the company assured him that the new camera would be sent to him within a week. Flipkart, started in 2007 in Bangalore, is a reputed Bangalore-based e-commerce and such mix-ups in packing goods happens only very rarely.
