snakebite

THRISSUR: A student of Carmel School at Chalakkudy in Thrissur was bitten by snake, while she was in the school compound. The child has been admitted to a private hospital in Angamaly.

The student’s name is Kannanaykkal Gerald (9), a resident of housing board colony. His blood sample is being examined to find out the presence of snake poison.
However, the initial report said the student’s condition is not serious.

A snake was also caught from Olari school in Thrissur district itself. The snake was found in the room where books were stored. Several snakebite reports have been emerging since the death of Sulthan Bathery school student Shahala Sherine due to snakebite a few days ago.
