KUTTIPPURAM: After sexually abusing a college lecturer in the pretext of marriage, circulated her nude photos, address and phone number in social media and adult sites. District police chief U Abdul Kareem said a case has been registered as per the IT Act against Muhammed Hafiz, a native of Thrissur, on the complaint of the woman, a native of Kozhikode. The accused, an administration manager of a textile manufacturing unit at Ajman in UAE, uploaded the photos Monday evening.

A lookout notice will be issued for the accused after collecting details from the passport office in Kochi. Narcotic DySP will probe circulation of the nude photos. The woman had earlier lodged a complaint to the Kuttippuram police alleging sexual abuse in the pretext of marriage. The incident happened when the two were studying in Ponnani. The two had taught in the same college also. After he withdrew from the promise, a case was taken on the girl's complaint under the provisions of rape. The statement of the girl was recorded on Tuesday.
