KOTTAYAM: In what appears to be a setback for Kerala Congress (M) leader Jose K Mani, the Election Commission on Saturday allotted the 'two leaves' symbol to the Joseph group ahead of the Panchayat election in Akalakkunnam Panchayat.

The decision was made by the Commission after considering the letter written by PJ Joseph.

It must be noted that Jose K Mani will not be able to use the 'two leaves' symbol in the upcoming election in Balal panchayat as well.
